Announcing The Brand New Dig Inn Online Ordering Loyalty Program!

Dig Inn Online Ordering Loyalty Program

We’ve got some great news for those of you who order from us via our online ordering website – we just rolled out a brand new Dig Inn Online Ordering Loyalty Program!

Now online ordering customers can earn free meals just like in-store customers. Our online program is based on point values, which is a little different than our in-store punch card system. Here’s how it works:

  • You earn points on purchases of all Big and Small Plates (both Build Your Own and Chef’s Suggestions).
  • Big Plates earn 6 points, Small Plates earn 4 points.
  • Pickup orders earn DOUBLE POINTS (12 for a Big Plate, 8 for a Small).
  • When you rack up 80 points, you’ll earn a FREE Small Plate.
  • Or you can hold out for a FREE Big Plate, which you’ll earn when you rack up 120 points.

And that’s pretty much it. Please note that you can only earn points for 1 plate per order (just like our in-store rewards program) so you and your friends may want to place your orders separately instead of as a group (just FYI).

Also, please note that our online ordering loyalty program is completely separate from our in-store loyalty program.

This means that online points cannot be swapped for in-store punches unfortunately. We hope to connect the two programs at some point, but we’re keeping them separate for the time being.

How to see & redeem your reward points

You can see your current number of reward points on both the Order Now tab and the Rewards tab of your account page.

On the Order Now tab, when you earn enough points for an award, a button will appear that will allow you to redeem them, which will look like this:

OLO Rewards - Order Now Tab - Redeem Button

This button will send you to the Rewards tab, where you can choose to redeem your points and obtain a promo code. You’ll see this message right below your points, as you see in this image:

OLO Rewards - Rewards Tab - Redeem Link

You can also see your current number of rewards points on the Rewards tab, like you see in the image above. When you reach 80 points, you’ll have the option of redeeming your points for a Free Small Plate. Or you can hold out and wait until you reach 120 points, which you can redeem for a Free Big Plate.

When you redeem your points, you’ll be given a promo code that you can enter when you checkout (copying and pasting it is usually the easiest way to do this). This promo code can be found in the “Rewards ready to be redeemed” section of the page, like you see below:

OLO Rewards - Rewards Tab - Promo Code

We’ve included instructions below the promo code (see the “How to use your promo code” section) to make it more clear on how this works. Please note that only 1 promo code can be used per order (if you’ve saved up more than 1).

Earn points for referring friends

You can also now earn 12 points for referring a friend! After you submit an order online, you’ll see a new “Refer A Friend” section on the Thank You page. You can refer 1 friend per order, and you’ll earn 12 Rewards Points when your friend places their first order.

We hope you’re as stoked about this new loyalty program as we are. Now get out there and start earning some free food!

  1. Is there any reason not to think that the new loyalty program is half as good as the present one for people who walk into the store without preordering their food?

    • Hey, William. If you’re ordering delivery, it’s a fair point, but before we rolled this out, there was no loyalty program at all for online ordering customers. So we do think that the new program is an improvement over not offering anything.

The delivery business is more challenging for a number of reasons so offering a loyalty program has been a challenge for us. But we think it can work this way, and we provide a little extra incentive for people to order for pickup. If you order pickup, it is exactly the same as our loyalty program for walk-in customers – you get 1 free plate for every 10 you order.

Thanks very much for your comment, and please let us know if you have any other questions. Best, JC

  2. Offering double points is great for pick-up for the stores where you offer pick-up (i.e. not 55th Street). So for those of us who patronize the 55th St location this deal is half as good as the current buy 10, get one free.

    • Hi, TJ. That’s a great point. Since Pickup is not available at 55th Street, customers who eat there should continue to use the punch cards if they pick up their orders in store.

If you order delivery from 55th Street, then the online loyalty program is a great option (and just happens automatically when you place a delivery order).

  3. Hi JC. Thank you for your reply. To confirm, the loyalty program described here — the NEW loyalty program — only applies to folks who order on-line for delivery or pick-up, and the OLD loyalty program with the punch cards is not being modified. Is that correct?

    Thank you for clarifying.

    • That is absolutely correct. No change has been made to the in-store punch card loyalty program. Online is totally separate from in-store for now, although we hope to combine the two programs at some point in a way that’s very helpful for all of you.

  4. Great. Thanks for the clarification.
